Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. Along with the MAN, Scania, Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus and RIO brands, it is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles. In 2017, the brands of Volkswagen Truck & Bus sold a total of around 205,000 vehicles. The offering encompasses light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses, which are produced at 31 locations in 17 countries. As of 31 December 2017, the company employed around 81,000 people in its commercial vehicles brands. The Group’s goal is to realign system transport – using its products and services, and as a partner for its customers.
